First it was the painted wizard sticks and now it’s these beautifully wrapped feather arrows from Maryam Nassir Zadeh that are stealing my heart. I could just picture them all together in a tight bunch sticking out of a container like a bouquet of flowers.  Although I am sure this was not the original intent I would hate to keep these hidden away until the need for an arrow actually came up.  Besides, these are way too cool to shoot.

They are called Wizard Sticks…  Not sure what that means but I love the amazing colors and patterns against the natural wood.

This color combination is one of my favorites so an easy choice for a first post on color.  Although this combination is most often found in a bouquet I loved these images together because they are exactly the opposite of that.  A mix of paper pom poms in these colors grounded with the texture of white lanterns creates a whimsical instillation while using these shades in a bolder way in an interior makes an otherwise neutral room pop.   The use of these two colors in one window adds a dramatic yet playful touch.
