On the softer side of pattern mixing… Preppy stripes mixed with bohemian inspired patterns and small touches creates a visually interesting environment that really works. I love these two rooms and how they play with the idea, one through simply mixing different textiles and the other by playing with a mix of textiles, intricately crafted furniture (a pattern in itself) and small details. I think this works best if you collect things that you love over time. When you go to do a project like this you will have the ammunition you need to get started and can add and subtract as you like.
